Maintaining your transit organizations' competitive advantage means you must target and promote your services to numerous sponsors, funders and grant-makers. Learn how to focus this grant and contract seeking process in ways that are efficient, effective and appropriate to your organizations' mission. During this class, participants will actually begin structuring a brief proposal. This class is intended for development officers, senior management, and anyone else who's charged with finding the funds to support a transit activity.

The course outline for this workshop is as follows:

Morning: Finding and cultivating the right grantor; Components of a grant proposal; Structure and elements of a budget; and Composing a grant proposal.
Afternoon: Composing a grant proposal (continued); Evaluation process; Proposal evaluation; and Questions and answers.
Fee: This workshop is free to all participants! Lunch is on your own.
Class Schedule: Registration is at 8:00 a.m. The workshop will begin at 8:30 a.m., ending at 5:00 p.m.
