Senior Manager of Accessible Services for Central Contra Costa Transit Authority

Grade 11 - $69,553 – $97,369 annually
DUTIES: Under the direction of the Director of Administration, Responsible for oversight of CCCTA’s contract with the paratransit service provider, education and policy development in the areas of ADA compliance as it relates to transit, supervision of the ADA eligibility process and ADA specialist personnel, client complaints and problem solving, records and reporting as relates to both fixed route and paratransit accessible services issues, staffing the CCCTA Accessible Services Committee (ASC), and CCCTA liaison to countywide and regional paratransit and accessible services advisory technical groups.
REQUIREMENTS: The equivalent of a bachelor/s degree from a four-year college or university with major course work in public administration, business administration or other related field and five years of progressively responsible experience in paratransit management and operations. Knowledge of and experience with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act as they relate to public transit is required. Related experience or training that demonstrates substantial knowledge and abilities pertinent to specific job functions may qualify for substitution of the education requirement.
